Extech's 39240 is a waterproof stem thermometer. This stem thermometer is pocket sized with a digital display featuring 0.1° resolution and min/max recording. It measures temperature in frozen solids and liquids using the 2.75 in. (70 mm) stainless steel stem. Temperature measurements from -40 to 392°F (-40 to 200°C). Barstock temperature thermowell — protective housing for temperature sensors. Standard bore diameter 0.26 in (6.6 mm), tip wall thickness 0.25 in (6.4 mm). Four mounting styles (Threaded, Flanged, Van Stone, Welded), three stem profiles (Straight, Tapered, Stepped), wide material selection (316/316L, 304/304L, Carbon Steel, Chrome-Moly, Monel, Hastelloy, Nickel, Super Duplex). Immersion length custom per process (1-100 in / 25-2500 mm) — specified at quote. NORSOK material codes (SD, CB, NK, DT) require Q8 Material Certificate.

Tubular protection sleeve for temperature sensors in Chemical and Pharmaceutical industries — different from the 114C barstock thermowell platform. Designed for fast time response (thin wall) or applications requiring long immersion lengths beyond what barstock thermowells economically support. Standard bore diameter 7 mm (0.28 in), tip wall thickness 3 mm (0.12 in); NAMUR-bore variant reduces to 6 mm bore / 5 mm wall. Threaded only — NPT, BSPT, BSPF, and metric process connections. Immersion length 50-2500 mm in 5 mm increments. Materials: 316/316L SST and 316Ti SST.

Specialty barstock thermowell with a patented twisted-square stem profile that dramatically reduces vortex-induced vibration. Designed for high-velocity service where a straight or tapered stem would resonate and fail by fatigue. ASME PTC 19.3 TW-2016 compliance for vortex-induced stress mitigation. Same 114C platform as the standard barstock thermowell, but with Threaded mounting only and the unique Twisted stem style. Wide material selection: 316/316L SST, 304/304L SST, Carbon Steel A-105, 310 SST high-temp, 321 SST, Alloy B-3, Alloy C-276 (Hastelloy). Immersion length 2-40 in / 50-1000 mm.
