Wireless surface / ambient temperature monitor — part of Emerson's Synchros IIoT platform for asset and condition monitoring. WirelessHART (IEC 62591) protocol, integrates with existing or new WirelessHART networks via a 1410S Gateway. Designed for asset-level trend monitoring (heat exchanger fouling detection, heat trace verification, reciprocating compressor valve health, distribution line monitoring). User-orderable with battery, integral thermocouple sensor, and mounting accessories — all in one model number. Mount options: bracket, pipe clamp (magnetic mount coming). Designed for hazardous-area service. Connects to Plantweb Insight Asset View for real-time alerts, trend charts, and asset health scoring.
What the device measures. Surface = thermal contact with a pipe / equipment surface via integral TC. Ambient = air temperature in a warehouse, instrument enclosure, or large space.
Surface measurement requires an integral TC. Ambient measurement uses an internal sensor — set this to N.
Long-life primary battery. Standard order includes battery; "none" only valid for spare-device orders.
