Single database supports up to 30,000 smart devices across HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, WirelessHART, PROFIBUS PA, and PROFIBUS DP. Integrates with Emerson DeltaV / Ovation control systems and most third-party DCS, SIS, and PLC environments. Includes Field Device Integration (FDI), combining EDDL and FDT/DTM technology for standard device integration. Fisher control valve setup, calibration, and diagnostic app — runs on the AMS Trex / Trex 2 Device Communicator (or as a standalone PC app for ValveLink Solo). Set up FIELDVUE digital valve controllers, monitor status and alerts, stroke the valve, perform step tests, run valve signatures, and view/save diagnostic tests. Data files generated in the field can be transferred to ValveLink SNAP-ON or ValveLink PLUG-IN for PRM for analysis and archival. Best paired with Trex 2 — the ultra-modern, guided experience proactively monitors valve health and diagnoses issues with confidence.
Snap-on Plus Module that extends the AMS Trex / Trex 2 Device Communicator with two unique field-communication powers: (1) ability to power loop segments — the Trex provides 24 VDC to wake up an unpowered or stranded transmitter for configuration, and (2) a built-in 4-20 mA ammeter — measure live loop current directly from the Trex without breaking the loop or pulling out a separate multimeter. Best for technicians who routinely commission new transmitters or troubleshoot 4-20 mA loop issues in the field.
