The Megger MCT105 kit includes a separate transmitter and receiver. It is designed to help detect and trace cables or metallic conductors in walls or buried underground, locate and identify fuses or breakers on electrical circuits as well as finding breaks or short circuits in cables and electrical underfloor heating systems. It can also be used for tracing metal water and heating pipes.
The transmitter operates on 5 voltage ranges: 12 V,50 V, 120 V, 230 V and 400 V, as well as generating a signal on dead or isolated cables and conductors. The receiver offers either automatic or manual adjustment of the signal sensitivity for increased accuracy and can detect buried cables up to a depth of 2.5 M. Both units include an auto power off feature, along with low battery indicators.
The MCT105 is supplied with everything needed to trace and locate cables or conductors, including test leads, crocodile clips, test probes and a protective carry case.
The Megger MCT105 Cable and Circuit Tracer # 1013-836 is manufactured by Megger. Valley Instrument Service is an authorized Megger dealer offering full sales support, NIST-traceable calibration, and expert technical assistance.

AccuTrace transmitter/receiver pair for tracing buried pipes and cables. Transmitter applies a low-frequency signal to the cable; receiver tracks the signal above ground to follow the route and estimate burial depth. For de-energized cables and pipes; pairs with the 656626 ring clamp for inductive coupling on cables that cannot be opened for direct connection.

Battery 9.6V NiMH 1.5AH (X8)
