DeFelsko PosiTector UTG
DeFelsko PosiTector UTG
DeFelsko
12 configurations
$1,155.00 – $2,430.00
Step 1: Choose a gage body
Standard
Includes all base features and storage of 1,000 readings per probe.
Advanced
All Standard features plus storage of 250,000 readings in up to 1,000 batches. WiFi, Bluetooth, A-Scan, B-Scan.
Probe Only
Probe alone — pairs with any existing PosiTector body. Ideal when you already own a 6000, 200, DPM, IRT, SPG, RTR, SST, SHD, BHI, or GLS body.
Step 2: Select a probe
Pick a gage body first to see prices for each probe.
Corrosion / single-echo
UTG C
Corrosion (cabled)
Dual-element single-echo probe on 1 m (3 ft) cable. Measures the thickness of metal structures with pitting and moderate-to-severe corrosion on the back wall. Will NOT ignore exterior coatings — use UTG M or UTG P for through-paint work.
UTG CA
Corrosion (integral)
Same dual-element single-echo specs as UTG C, but with a built-in (integral) probe — no cable. Compact one-handed operation for routine corrosion inspection.
UTG CX
Corrosion Xtreme (cabled)
Same specs as UTG C with a braided stainless-steel cable jacket and reinforced strain reliefs. For demanding environments — refineries, abrasive blast areas, marine, drone/ROV deployment.
Attenuative materials
UTG CLF
Corrosion Low-Frequency (cabled)
Dual-element single-echo probe designed for thick or attenuative materials such as cast iron, cast aluminum, and zinc — where standard frequencies are absorbed.
Through-paint measurement
UTG M
Multi-Echo / Thru-Paint (cabled)
Single-element multiple-echo probe with Thru-Paint capability. Measures the metal thickness of a painted or coated structure WITHOUT removing the coating. Ideal for in-service inspection.
High-resolution
UTG P
Precision (cabled)
Single-element probe with automatic multi-echo or single-echo mode. Thru-Paint capable. High-resolution measurements on thin plastics and metals — e.g., plastic bottle walls, thin-gauge tubing.
