A brief tour of the equipment, standards, and disciplines that move through our Bakersfield calibration bench every week.
Our calibration lab in Bakersfield handles seven disciplines — electrical, pressure, temperature, dimensional, mass and force, torque, and gas and safety — with factory-authorized procedures and OEM parts on the shelf for repairs.
On the electrical bench: Fluke 5502A multi-product calibrators paired with a Keysight 3458A 8½-digit DMM as the reference standard. Pressure work runs through an Additel ADT-780S controller with a comparator manifold and Ralston quick-test stack. Temperature uses Ametek Jofra RTC-158, CTC-660, and RTC-168 dry-block calibrators with a high-temp source for the upper range.
The lab is staffed by technicians who know the gear — not by a service desk. Customers calling about a calibration in progress talk to the person who handled it.
